In October, North Country Subaru continued its commitment to the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, embodying the brand's dedication to supporting furry companions and animal welfare. As part of Subaru's Love Promise community commitment, the dealership engaged in various activities throughout the month to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners in the Fort Edward and Queensbury, NY area.

At North Country Subaru, we're proud to support the Subaru Loves to Care initiative by donating to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is the 7th year that Subaru and retailers all over the country have joined to partner with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by donating warm blankets and extending hand-written notes to patients battling their disease bravely. 

For the past 14 years, our Queensbury dealership has been part of the Subaru Share the Love Event. Subaru of America Inc. sponsors this event, and participating retailers help donate money to those in need. With over 1,700 hometown charities participating, more than $227 million has been raised for charity.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of the Black Fly Challenge. On July 11, 1000, participants road 40 miles to see who could come out on top of this biking challenge. We’re going to highlight what happened at this year’s event.

Back in June, the annual Adirondack Food and Wine Festival took place, and it was a blast. This event has been going on for the past six years, and it’s brought people from Granville, Glen Falls, and all over the country to come and explore all the great food and drink New York has to offer.

Here at North Country Subaru, we love that we can put on events that help support our local community. So on April 7th, from 4 pm to 7 pm, with the help of Brooks BBQ, our Subaru dealership in Queensbury, NY, hosted a BBQ at our Subaru dealership near Fort Edward to benefit the Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center.

The Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center provides quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in our area and works closely with local community agencies and public works organizations like hospitals, schools, and more.

As you may know by now, Subaru loves the Earth. This is especially true for those of us who work at North Country Subaru.
